The Secret Society of the Left Hand

"If this secret leaks, one of us is a traitor." It's no secret--all summer long the Cinnamon Lake Mystery Club's plans have been foiled. Sam and Ben Benson always find out their "top secret" projects and come up with a way to ruin them. Who's leaking the information? With only one week of summer left, can the Cinnamon Lakers come up with a project that will work--and keep the secret from the Benson brothers?

The Secret Society of the Left Hand sounds like a good idea, but will suspicion tear up the Cinnamon Lakers before their good deeds are complete?

The Case of the Disappearing Dirt

"Dirt''s disappeared! Nobody's seen her."

Dirt, the tagalong member of the Cinnamon Lake Mystery Club, is missing! Molly knows she blew Dirt off on the bus ride home, but she didn't mean it. Without warning the Cinnamon Lakers find themselves following a trail of footprints and ransom notes.

Can they keep going when they reach the scariest place in all of Cinnamon Lake? And whose responsibility is it to follow the search for Dirt through to the end?

The Great Meow Mystery

"Cinnamon Lake won't be safe until we expose the fur-stealing cat burglar!"

The Cinnamon Lakers need a great story if they're going to sell their homemade newspaper, The Cinnamon Lake News. Sales have been dropping since their rivals, the Vultures, introduced their own paper. Unless sales improve, the Cinnamon Lakers will never have enough money to build a clubhouse.

Molly decides to stretch the truth about missing cats in the neighborhood to boost sales. Her articles cause quite a stir, but soon Molly's wondering whom she can trust.

With too many "white lies" circulating, will Molly be able to uncover the truth about the catnapper?

Don't Bug Me, Molly

Suddenly the front door swung open . . . "Who is out there?" came a man's voice . . . "I'm Molly Mack," I said. "We . . . well, we saw someone breaking into your house."

Molly should be hard at work on her science-fair project. But stage fright keeps getting the best of her. She can't even think about the fair.

Instead, she's spending her evenings with Dirt on the lookout for a ghost that's haunting the broken-down shack near the Cinnamon Laker's clubhouse.

A new girl named Sunny joins Molly's class at school. She has the best of everything--including the best science-fair project.

But Molly catches Sunny at the wrong place at the wrong time. Is Sunny as rich as she seems to be--or is she a thief?

Of Spies and Spider Webs

"Molly Mack, you have asked for Sam Benson's help? Have you lost your senses?"

As the Cinnamon Lakers prepare to stage their first Christmas play, they discover that they need help. Sam Benson, a member of the Vultures, a club on the other side of the lake, is recruited.

Is Sam sincere in his offer to help? Or is he behind the blackouts, vandalism, and stolen script? It's up to the Cinnamon Lakers to find the truth before the Christmas play is ruined.

Soup Kitchen Suspicion

"It looks like mystery meat isn't the only mystery cooking in Granny Mae's soup kitchen."

When Molly and the rest of the Cinnamon Lakers volunteer to help at the church soup kitchen, Granny Mae gives them a real mystery to solve. Who left a message with a large donation to the kitchen? Who is leaving rhyming clues to lead the group to money? And why?

Soon an even tougher mystery develops. Someone begins stealing the soup kitchen funds. In their rush to solve the mysteries, Molly, Quentin, Sunny, Haley, and Dirt discover that things are not always as they appear. Looks can be very deceiving.

The Cinnamon Lake-Ness Monster Mystery

"I'll tell you what's the matter with me," said Dirt's sister, Haley. "I just saw a monster in Cinnamon Lake!"

Molly and Dirt would not have believed it if they hadn't seen it with their own eyes--a huge, horrible monster in Cinnamon Lake. But there's no such thing as monsters--or is there?

There is only one thing to do--solve the mystery. Molly and Dirt talk Quentin and his cousin Solomon into investigating the monster sighting. Along the way, the Cinnamon Lakers learn the value of courage in the face of danger and difficulty. And they learn that not respecting each other can create a real monster.
