a wonderful summer! I thought it was about time for an update. I'm so
grateful to all of you for helping get the word out about STARLIGHT
ANIMAL RESCUE, the new THAT'S NAT series, and especially MY BOYFRIENDS'
DOGS. Sales have been going great, and the paperback will be out soon.
Here's the new cover:
"Teens who appreciate feisty female characters
will be entertained by Bailey's voyage to self-discovery, and the
star-crossed ending will satisfy romance enthusiasts." Kirkus
Review
If I were pitching one
of these books to a movie producer, this wouldn't be a bad way to begin.
"Girl walks into a diner with three dogs. She's in a prom dress,
she's soaking wet, and each dog is from a different boyfriend."
Best description of this one? "A Diane Lane movie for YA."

I absolutely loved
this book. It made me smile and it has a very good message for young
girls. I am going to recommend this book to all of my students, and I
hope some of you will pick up this story, too! 5 STARS; Reviewed by:

Her love stories of
three ex-boyfriend contenders-- and their dogs--recount hilarious,
poignant, heart-warming adventures of l'amour as Bailey slowly
understands not only why her attempts at mating for life go awry but
also her own unique role in capturing true romance. Along the way,
readers may well wish that Bailey's support group, her garage-sale
obsessed Mom, devoted friend Amber, and of course, Adam, Eve and Shirley
were in their lives also, as they point Bailey toward realizing that
finding true love means being true to oneself. Mary Arnold, Voya

I
don't know what else to say about this novel except that it was fresh,
fun, and lighthearted with a lovable main character who you can easily
sympathize with as she stumbles her way through love. Reading Is
